Just added two drops of black into the blue pen and it totally over did it (used on the character to the left. Then I tried using a black pen for the right characters mouth. That turned out horribly (imo) so just now I tried mixing the colour I want with acrylic paint and just painting the inking with a brush. THAT then turned out all uneven and weird. And thus we are at the present. Where I’m now placing an order of Montana empty markers and ink so I can mix my own pen colour! What more to do then laugh at such a silly problem.

I could try that, but once i get the colour right there i have to get the same one in the pen (and i sort of suck at that part :P ). I think I’ll just have to add a drop of black until the pen have a more appropriate blue tone. Not sure if it shows that much in the photos but at the moment the ink colour is almost the same as the skin around the mouth so you can’t even see the mouth at times unless the light is right. I tried using a light blue pen, but that looked so very very bad ^_^;
I should probably have bought an empty Montana pen and ink so I can make my own colour from scratch but I don’t want to wait a week or so before I can start reinking the painting.

3 layers of Pink done and got started on the inking but now I’m thinking about cracking open the marker I use for the inking and trying to mix in some black to make it darker.
